PC-Timer is installed on the Windows PC your child uses. There's nothing to install on your phone; just sign in on this website.

Install and connect
- Get a code on your phoneSign in, open [PCs] and tap [Add PC] to get an 8-character code. The code works for 10 minutes.
- Install on your child's PC as an administratorSign in to the PC with your own (administrator) account and run the installer. When Windows asks for permission, click [Yes].
- Enter the codeEnter the 8-character code on the last screen of the installer, and the PC is linked to your account.
- Link your child's accountThe Windows accounts on that PC show up on the [PCs] page on your phone. Pick your child's name next to the account they use, and the limits start right away.
Your child needs a standard account
If your child uses an administrator account, they can turn PC-Timer off or uninstall it. Create a separate account for your child and make it a standard user. Make sure your own account has a password.
Windows Settings → Accounts → Other users (or Family) → Add account. For an existing account, choose 'Change account type' and pick 'Standard user'. If you link an administrator account to a child, the PC shows a warning.
Updates and uninstalling
New versions install automatically. PC-Timer can only be removed from the app list in Windows Settings by an administrator, and we email you if it is.
