Refund Policy

When we refund

Full refund: within 7 days of payment, as long as the plan period you paid for hasn't started yet. For example, if you paid early while still in your free trial or while an earlier plan was still running, you get everything back.
Other cases: we refund the unused part of the plan in whole months. Refund = amount paid ÷ months paid for × whole months remaining (partial months don't count; amounts are rounded down to the cent, or to the won for Korean won payments).
Example: if you cancel a 1-year plan ($10, or ₩10,000) after 3½ months, 8 whole months remain, so you get $6.66 back (₩6,666 for a Korean won payment). A 1-month plan has no whole months left once it starts, so it can't be refunded after that.
If you paid for several PCs at once, each PC is calculated separately, and you can refund only some of them.
If you couldn't use the Service properly because of a fault on our side, you get a full refund regardless of the rules above.

How to ask for a refund

Use our contact form or email (help@2nd-korea.com) and tell us your order number and which PCs to refund. If you paid by bank transfer, also tell us the bank account for the refund.

How you get your money back

PayPal: we refund the payment (or part of it) through PayPal, back to the account you paid with. It usually shows up within a few business days, depending on PayPal and your funding source.
Bank transfer: we send the money to the account you give us within 3 business days.
Card payment: we cancel the card payment (a partial cancellation for a partial refund). It can take 3 to 7 business days to show, depending on your card company.

When we refund, the PC's plan period is shortened by the refunded amount, and any cash receipt or tax invoice issued is cancelled.
